What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. They help the site work properly and remember things like whether you are logged in.

The cookies we use

We keep things simple. Pro-cess only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for the platform to work. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics.

Cookie Purpose Duration Type
process_*_session Keeps you logged in and remembers your session as you move between pages 8 hours Essential
XSRF-TOKEN Protects you against cross-site request forgery attacks. This is a security measure 2 hours Essential
remember_web_* Keeps you logged in between visits if you tick "Remember me" on the login page 5 years Essential
cookie_consent Remembers that you have seen and acknowledged our cookie notice 1 year Essential

Third-party cookies

We do not set third-party tracking or advertising cookies. However, some of the services we use may set their own cookies when they load on a page. These are needed for those services to work properly.

Service Cookies Purpose
Google Maps NID, 1P_JAR, CONSENT Set by Google when maps or address autocomplete loads on a page. Used by Google to remember preferences and prevent abuse.
Stripe __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid Set by Stripe when payment forms load. Used for fraud detection and to process payments securely.

These cookies are set on their respective domains, not on pro-cess.co.uk. We have no control over them. You can find more detail in Google's cookie policy and Stripe's cookie policy.

Managing cookies

Because we only use essential cookies, there is nothing optional to turn off. These cookies are needed for the platform to work properly. If you block them through your browser settings, some parts of Pro-cess may not function as expected.

Most browsers let you view and manage cookies in their settings. Here is how to do it in the most common browsers:

  • Chrome - Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies
  • Firefox - Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari - Preferences, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data
  • Edge - Settings, then Cookies and Site Permissions

Changes to this policy

If we start using additional cookies in the future (for example, if we add analytics), we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies.
